It's been a cold long January. We are sorry we haven't posted in a while. Here are some fun pictures from our activities in late December and early January. Stay warm!

Happy Spring!

In anticipation of the upcoming spring holidays, we spent the afternoon before break tasting some matzah with butter......

...and then sorting and graphing with jelly beans!

We hope you all had a wonderful spring break.  We can't wait to see the kids back at school on Wednesday!

Here is a Haiku for you!

Jackie, Holden's mom, came into class last week to teach a lesson on haikus.  A haiku is a poem that is typically about the seasons or nature.  It always has only 3 lines and each line has a certain amount of syllables.  The syllable count is 5, 7, and 5.  This was a great way to wrap up our poetry unit.  We had so much fun playing around with the syllable counts and came up with some really great new poems. Thanks Jackie!
